Description
Going on safari with children is such a wonderful experience. And not just for the kids!
This is a safari in northern Tanzania that will give you incredible wildlife viewing in some stunning landscapes. From Tarangire National Park to the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, we take you to the best places in this region. You have a chance to see the Big 5 (elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard) plus many other species too, including monkeys, antelopes, crocodiles, and lots more.
What is more, whilst on safari you have your own vehicle and driver/guide just for your family. This means you can enjoy everything without having to be concerned about other people travelling with you, you can stop when you want, and you can decide if you want to watch any animal for two minutes or two hours!
We have chosen accommodations with swimming pools so that if the kids want a change from being on safari, you can go to the lodge and chill out while they let off steam in the pool.
After your wildlife safari, you fly across to the Indian Ocean and chill out by the beach on Zanzibar for 5 days. Breezes Beach Club is a real favourite with families. It has lots of facilities and watersports too, and friendly staff who love looking after children as well as adults. It makes a great end to this holiday.
Costs & Amendments for this holiday
'The ideal itinerary for a family safari will vary depending on the age of your children. As an suggestion we've put together this excellent family safari and beach holiday in Tanzania based on a family of four with 2 children under 12 years of age. We think it will suit most children from about 7-8 years. Older children will definitely also love it, but sadly costs increase for children 12 years and over. The adult guide price is ?2340 and the child guide price (under 12) is ?1830.
We can however advise you on what might be perfect for your family, so if this isn't quite right, let us tailor make something else for you that is just what you want.
