From Seville to Malaga
An incredible adventure aboard the Aegean Odyssey begins in Seville, thought to be founded by Hercules 3,000 years ago. The largest city of Andalucia, Seville displays a charming history including the 15th century Cathedral of Seville, 12th century Almohad mosque and Seville's Royal Palace Alcazar. You'll continue to the wonderful Moroccan cities of Marrakech, Casablanca, Fez and Tangier exploring magnificent treasures such as the magnificent Hassan II Mosque - the second largest mosque in the world - and the 12-acre botanical Majorelle Garden. Sailing on to Mlaga you will experience marvellous excursions to unique charms including the famous Picasso Museum and Alhambra Palace.

Itinerary
➕ Day 1 London - Seville, Spain.
Titan's VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and a direct, scheduled British Airways or another leading airline flight to Seville. On arrival, you will be met by Voyages to Antiquity representatives and transferred to your hotel.
➕ Day 2 Seville, Spain
Said to be the most popular city in the world in the 10th century, Cordoba is a great cultural place to visit having been both a capital of a Roman province and capital of the Arab state. Enjoy a delightful stroll through alleys, squares and whitewashed courtyards as well visiting famous monuments of the city including the Great Mosque and Roman Bridge.
➕ Day 3 - Seville (Overnight)
This morning we enjoy a city tour of Seville, a city thought to be founded by Hercules 3,000 years ago. You'll admire the exquisite exterior of the 15th century Cathedral of Seville, 12th century Almohad mosque and visit Seville's Royal Palace Alcazar. We will also stroll through the narrow streets and delightful Moorish courtyards in the Old Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz. This afternoon we transfer to Aegean Odyssey (4T).
➕ Day 3 - Seville
Cruising the Guadalquivir River. Further time is available in Seville, before we sail later afternoon along the Guadalquivir River towards Cadiz.
➕ Day 5 - Cadiz
Today, you have a choice of two excursions from Cadiz. Enjoy a scenic drive through the city, until we arrive in Jerez de la Frontera, home to a number of world-famous sherry companies. Here you will visit the unique cellars and be invited to taste some delicious samples of a variety of fortified wines. Or, enjoy a tour of the city - including visits to a tobacco factory built in 1741, Phoenician port of La Caleta and the old town - and trip to the 18th century baroque and neo-classical cathedral.
➕ Day 6 Casablanca - Marrakech, Morocco
Disembark in Casablanca and drive to Marrakech, for a tour of the entrancing sights of the old medina. Begin by strolling through alleyways capturing views of spectacular mosques, hammams, classic public bakeries, unique fountains carved in wood and styled with Kufic inscriptions and craftsmen practising their traditional trades. Later, visit the Majorelle Garden, situated in the heart of Marrakech this 12-acre botanical garden is a glorious place to admire. We transfer to our hotel for the evening.
➕ Day 7 Marrakech - Casablanca (overnight)
Returning to Casablanca, we stop en route in the beautiful town of El Jadida, a relaxed town with beautiful long beaches. It is home to the remains of old Portuguese colonial buildings as well as the Cistern; an underground chamber built in 1514 to be used during sieges, the room has been used for many films including Orson Welles' 'Othello'. We rejoin Aegean Odyssey and dock overnight.
➕ Day 8 Casablanca (overnight)
Today there is a choice of two tours. Drive to the capital city of Morocco, Rabat. In this cosmopolitan city you will visit places which hold fascinating history including the Hassan Tower, Kasbah of the Oudayas, Oudaya Gate and Mohamed V Mausoleum. Or, enjoy an orientation tour of Casablanca showing us the port, old medina, United Nations Square and Place Mohammed V, as well as a visit to the astonishing Hassan II Mosque - the second largest mosque in the world.
➕ Day 9 Casablanca - Fez
We disembark again in Casablanca and transfer to Fez, famous for being home to the oldest university in the world. Having been founded by Idris I in 789, the city was established as a great place of Islamic civilisation and remains a well-preserved old city in the Arab world, being declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will explore the old and new medinas and sightsee one of the 14th century religious schools. We transfer to our hotel for the evening.
➕ Day 10 Fez - Tangier
We drive to Tangier, stopping en route at the Roman city of Volubilis. After being founded in the 3rd century BC, the city was the capital of Roman Morocco and extensive remains of its fine buildings still stand, including the basilica and triumphal arch. On arrival in Tangier, we rejoin the Aegean Odyssey.
➕ Day 11 Mlaga, Spain (overnight)
You have a choice of two excursions today. Enjoy a panoramic drive to Gibralfaro Castle, for a photo stop and continue on to the famous Picasso Museum which boasts some beautiful paintings, sculptures and drawings. Alternatively, head for Granada and visit Alhambra. A wonderful symbol of Moorish heritage in Spain, the palace was occupied by the Nasrid Sultans (1238-1492) to watch over the kingdom during their time. Later, you will visit the Generalife Palace, built as a summer paradise for the Sultans of Granada.
➕ Day 12 Mlaga - London
Disembark and transfer to Malaga Airport for a British Airways or another leading airline flight to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport. Upon arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home. Arrive Home
